Five on Friday With Amanda Baldwin

Hey Elle’s Studio friends, Happy FriYAY! It’s Amanda here, and I can’t wait to share what I’ve created using our July 2021 Kit and new release items! Today’s post is all about highlighting five of the new products, hence, 5 on Friday! Let’s get started!

First, here are the 5 products I’ve chosen to highlight:

1. July 2021 Kit die cuts

2. Adventure Paper Stack

3. Cardstock Die Cut Tags

4. Navy Puffy Alphabet Stickers

and last, but by no means least,

5. Summertime Tabs Stamp

Wow! SO much awesomeness to craft with! Some might say the fantastic five!

Here’s what I came up with:

Supplies | July 2021 Kit, Cardstock Die Cut Tags, Navy Puffy Alphabet Stickers, Adventure Paper Stack, Summertime Tabs Stamp

How awesome is this?! Five products, and five stars! You’d never know that this page was limited to only five products – so many wonderful details to admire!

Let’s take a closer look…

First, let’s talk all things pattern paper! I think it’s only fair to say that the new Adventure Paper Stack is a serious ‘must-have’ item! With 2 sheets of 15 designs it’s easy to create the illusion of full size 12-inch papers. I butted together two 2-inch strips of the striped design paper and adhered them to the back of my distressed white cardstock base to form a 12-inch background paper. So cool!

On the opposite side of my page, I layered two 6-inch squares of the yellow striped paper over the top of my white cardstock. To build on my design, and to enhance my sunset photo I also machine stitched a pattern paper sunburst design over the striped yellow section. Plus, I even backed my photograph onto a paper base too! Patterned paper for the win!

Speaking of winning, how about the versatile use of the Navy Puffy Alphabet Stickers? Apart from the obvious title, I also used these stickers to emphasize the sunburst rays! Such an inventive way to utilize the exclamation marks!

The July 2021 Kit die cuts were the perfect embellishment for adorning my photo, as well as filling some negative space. I combined the two tone banner with the Summertime Tabs Stamp to add a snip-it of storytelling to my page.

To fill more of the negative space, I shadow stamped the ‘fun in the sun’ sentiment—also from the awesome Summertime Tabs Stamp.

The Cardstock Die Cut Tags could be used in a myriad of ways, but I tucked mine beneath my photo to create even more visual attention.

Really simple, and such effective approaches for maximizing five products! I hope my project has inspired you today! Thanks so much for stopping by!
