Alphabet Love with Sarah Kee

Hi, Elle’s friends! It’s me, Sarah, on the blog, and I can’t believe we are already in June. Where did half the year go?!

Today, I’m happy to share my latest layout with you. It’s focused on combining the two yellow alphabet stickers from the May release. Have you seen them yet?! I love that they are so bright and cheery.

Here’s what I came up with:

Supplies | May 2021 Kit, Yellow Cardstock Label Stickers, Jane Tile Alphabet Cardstock Stickers – Yellow, Treasure This Vellum Stickers, Yellow Parker Acetate Alphabet Stickers, Acetate Heart Stickers, Puffy Banners and Border StickersTiny Shapes and Dots Puffy Stickers – Warm Tones, Happy Place Wood Veneer, Good Times Paper StackFun with Borders Stamp

I tend to use letter stickers as titles for my projects, but I wanted to try something different this time around. I wanted to incorporate both the Jane Tile and Parker Acetate Alphabet Stickers as a part of my journaling for this layout. I thought it would be a fun look, and I’m glad I did because I love the way it turned out!

First up, I created some “journaling lines” by using the Fun with Borders Stamp. Each border stamp acted as a single line for my journaling. Then, I added a combination of both the Jane Tile Alphabet Cardstock Stickers, Yellow Parker Acetate Alphabet Stickers, and my own handwriting to get that journaling down onto my page.

For my layout title, I didn’t want to use any of the alphabet stickers and confuse it with my journaling. Instead, I used the Happy Place Wood Venee that was released last month. It made for such an easy way to add a title to my layout.

Lastly, have you all seen the Tiny Shapes and Dots Puffy Stickers?! These have easily become one of my favorite ways to embellish my layouts. I love that they’re basic and easy enough to add to any project. They have adhesive backs, so no need to use any type of glue or tape runner with them. They come in a variety of colors, but the last release was fun warm tones that go perfectly with the yellow alphabet stickers.

And that’s a wrap! That’s all I have for today. What’d you think? We’d love to see you using those awesome yellow Jane tiles and Parker acetate stickers on your projects.
