We are thrilled to welcome our April guest designer, Diane Dziuban to the blog today! Take a second to check out Diane’s Instagram feed, and you’ll know why we HAD to ask her to guest! Diane’s pockets are filled with stories and beautiful details that always warrant a second look. We can’t wait to share the magical project that she’s created using our newest products. Without further ado, let’s take a look at what Diane is sharing with us today!

Hi everyone! It’s Diane here and I am beyond excited to be guest designing for Elle’s Studio for the month of April! It’s a dream come true to be sharing a project with you here on the blog!

The moment I saw the beautiful April 2021 Kit and add-ons I knew they would be perfect to help me document a weekend trip my husband and I took to Walt Disney World! The bright colors and sentiments were exactly what I have been waiting for to document this trip.

Supplies | April 2021 Kit, Vacation Details 4 x 6 inch Journaling Tags, Smile Cardstock Die CutsSpringtime Stickers, Adventure Puffy Label Stickers, Tiny Shapes and Dots Puffy Stickers – Cool Tones, Cerulean Blue Puffy Alphabet Stickers, Dark Pink Puffy Alphabet Stickers, Yellow Puffy Alphabet Stickers, Cork Hearts, Let’s Go Wood Veneer, Smile Wood Veneers, Good Times Tab Stamp

When I am documenting a shorter trip, I like to use kits because everything goes together perfectly, and it helps with decision making. This kit did not disappoint! It was like it was designed for my trip! To start my album off, I used the Let’s Go Wood Veneer to set the stage for my stories. It’s such a fun start to the album!

Once I had decided on the format of the album, I got to work printing out photos.  I knew I wanted large photos (inside and outside of the page protectors) along with pocket pages. As an introduction to the album, I documented a few favorite memories from the trip. The 4″ x 6″ “Remember these special moments” tag was perfect, but it didn’t fit the width of the album. I decided to cut it into two 3″ x 4″ tags to make one long, vertical, journaling spot and I love it. I also did this with the new Vacation Details Journaling Tags. It was a perfect way to include more than just the 3″ x 4″ tags from the April 2021 Kit.

From there, I just had fun getting the memories documented. I was even able to add a QR code in a flip-up pocket to include a video I had put together of the trip!  So fun!

Here are a couple of more photos of some of the layouts created with this amazing kit:

Thank you so much for having me this month!  I will see you soon with my second project!

Hi!  My name is Diane Dziuban and I live in beautiful south Texas, right between Austin and San Antonio.  I have been married to my amazing husband for 33 years and we have two awesome kids.  I work full time as an administrative assistant and look forward to my time in my craft space to relax and get some memories documented.  I love this hobby and how it has taught me to see the small details and the beauty in the every day.  Thank you so much for taking a look at my project! It’s been an honor to be a guest designer for Elle’s Studio!

Wasn’t that one amazing album? It gives us so many ideas for how to use our April 2021 Kit and add-ons! Be sure to leave Diane a comment here to let her know what you love about her project. Until Diane joins us again, find more of her beautiful projects on Instagram, where you’ll find her @snapshotsdocumented!
