Documenting a Day in Depth with Sabrina Poole

When was the last time that you documented a day of your life in depth so that you could have all of those tiny details of your life recorded? Design team member Sabrina Poole did that with the help of our On This Day In March Journaling Tags, in a brand new, lovely spring pocket page that she’s sharing with us today. Let’s take a look!

Hi. This is Sabrina! I hope you are having good Friday. Today I wanted to share with you how I used one of the new products that came out this month, the On This Day In March Journaling Tags. I focused on journaling all of the moments of my day using these cards.

Supplies | March 2019 Kit, March Labels, Tiny Everyday Label Stickers, Hazel Alphabet Stickers – Gray, On This Day In March Journaling Tags, Spring Puffy Stickers, White Puffy Alphabet Stickers, Puffy Icon Stickers, Puffy Heart Stickers – Summer Mix, Puffy Heart Stickers – Spring Mix, Wood Veneer Speech Bubbles, Springtime 6 x 6 Paper Stack, Noteworthy 6 x 6 Paper Stack

I started this spread by making a fun title card using the teal and green speech bubble card from the March 2019 Kit. I then grabbed the pink striped paper from the Noteworthy 6 x 6 Paper Stack, a striped blue paper from the Springtime 6 x 6 Paper Stack, the Hazel Alphabet Stickers and the new White Puffy Alphabet Stickers to build the title card. Here is the finished card and I love how it really ties in all the colors I planned on using with the spread.

The On This Day In March Journaling Tags are awesome for doing a type of more in-depth documenting of the day and that is what I decided to do for my 9″ x 12″ spread. My kids and I were outside on a Sunday afternoon when the sun had finally come out and I took a bunch of pictures. Since I had so many pictures, I decided that documenting this fun and sunny afternoon would be perfect with these cards.

I added a lot of details about the day and I used the March Kit blue tag die cut to make a tab for two of the tags so you could flip over the tags to read more journaling on the back. I finished my story on the back of one of the tags and on the other, added another little story with a photo.

After my journaling was added my title card was built, the embellishing came next. I used a variety of products to decorate my page and also add in more journaling. I used the March Labels to add some snippets of journaling on a few cards. Puffy stickers added a great pop of color and the Wood Veneer Speech Bubbles added in some extra dimension.

I hope this page and the awesome On This Day In March Journaling Tags help you to document some more of those everyday stories. They are a great addition to memory keeping. Thank you so much for reading!
