One Product, Three Ways: Everyday Phrases Stamp

One product can be viewed and used so different by our design team members, based on their design style! We know you’ll love how the three designers below, Meghann Andrew, Amanda-jayne Baldwin and Melissa Mann, are using our Everyday Phrases Stamp on their projects! Let’s take a look:

MEGHANN | I’ve been putting off documenting my week-intensive photo project for some time, and using the Everyday Phrases Stamp was just what I needed to spark an idea for how I can document this big project easily! I decided to break each day out in a separate color, keeping all of the product monochromatic. I grabbed the Everyday Phrases Stamps with the clear background to create my own custom 3″ x 4″ tags, which will be perfect for adding notes about the day I’m documenting.

Each tag was stamped with a different phrase in a separate color, creating a pattern at the top portion of the tag. To add more interest to the tags, I topped them with a Vellum Asterisk in the coordinating color.

I’ve already started documenting my week with these fun tags, and I know that using them alongside the monthly kit products and extras in the coordinating color will produce an awesome product!

AMANDA | I am so excited to be sharing the scrapbook element of this One Product, 3 Ways post! I love using stamps on my layouts! There are just so many awesome techniques you can use to really make your pages extra special!

Who would’ve thought that stamped words could have such impact! I’ve taken inspiration from the Vellum and Wood Veneer Asterisks in the July release, and repeat stamped in this asterisk style. It is such a fun way to create a background, and make the most of your stamp sets!

To emphasize the asterisk style, I also layered some of the Vellum and Wood Veneer Asterisks at the stamped asterisk centers. To compliment my seaside photograph, I used inks in sky blue, aquamarine, & cobalt to imitate the ocean. I also only used phrases that best told my story—so kinda forming some journaling too! Repeat stamping is such a fun technique to use to create both card and layout backgrounds! I hope I have inspired you to give this stamping technique a try today!

MELISSA | Hello, everyone! I created a greeting card using the new Elle’s Studio Everyday Phrases Stamp. I am often challenged by creating cards—I tend to make it much harder than it should be. When I picked this challenge this month to create a card featuring the new stamp set, I wanted to showcase the ENTIRE stamp set.

I came up with the idea to simply mount the entire sheet on an acrylic block and tape it down. I covered the stamps with a Versamark ink pad and stamped it onto the blue card stock. I then used white embossing powder to set the ink. This created a lovely, customized background for my card!

There are so many different ways to use this stamp set! I can’t wait to see what you create with it!
