A Stamped Traveler’s Notebook Spread + Process Video with Jamie Leija

Stamps are great for any kind of project, but when you want to add a lot of visual interest without added bulk for things like greeting cards or traveler’s notebooks, stamps are a must-have tool in your creative arsenal! Today we have Jamie Leija sharing how she’s used our Happy Moments Stamp on a new, colorful traveler’s notebook spread, and she has a process video to share, too! Let’s she how she used the stamp:

Hiya! It’s Jamie and I’m excited to share a layout and process video of my latest traveler’s notebook spread. I played with the new Happy Moments Stamp which is so versatile! Don’t let the bunnies fool you, this isn’t just an Easter stamp!

I started out by cutting down some white cardstock to use as the base of my layout. The pages of this particular traveler’s notebook are fairly thin and I knew I was going to want to add wet media to this page. So I opted to create on cardstock and paste them in the book.

There’s so many great sentiments in this stamp set. I used a variety of them along with several shades of stamp ink to create my own mini patterns. I turned those into little patterned boxes and used them to create a fun layered background on my page.

When I’m working in my traveler’s notebooks, I really try to keep them as flat as possible and stamping is a perfect solution for that! The only dimensional embellishing I added were a few Puffy Star Stickers.

I put together this video to walk you through this page from start to finish. I had a general idea when I started but this turned out way better than what I’d imagine. Even though halfway through I wasn’t sure I’d even like it!

Have I convinced you yet? The Happy Moments Stamp is super versatile and lots of fun to play with! Grab one before they’re gone!
