Garden Progress with Laura Wilson

Hi there! It’s Laura Hager here! Well, now Wilson! I just got married in January. This month, I’m working with the February 2018 Kit and add-ons to document my new little baby plants. I wanted a way to keep track of the plant varieties and dates that I planted things to help take care of the plants. I couldn’t put all the info on a plant marker, so I decided to make a 6″ x 8″ album to add the seed packets and notes in.

On this page, I used journaling tags from the February Kit and All the Details Journaling Tags, seed packets, and photos to start the layout. Next, I added small die cuts from the February kit, attaching them with my tiny attacher. I think it adds a cool texture to the page.

The journaling tag with the circle was perfect for the cute, Wood Veneer Icons. I added an exclamation point with a glue dot. Next, I added some text with the Green Puffy Alphabet Stickers. I love adding these to pages! They add such dimension and make the captions really pop!

I also stamped phrases from the All the Details Stamp onto white cardstock and cut out to add to my tags with my tiny attacher. This green striped tag from the All the Details Journaling Tags needed some blue to tie in the other half of the spread, so stamping “notes from” and attaching to the top added the perfect touch!

This was such a fun page to make! And hopefully useful when tracking progress with my plants. I can’t wait for these glass gem corn plants to grow. They are going to be so beautiful! And fun to scrapbook!

Do you like to garden? If so, do you have a garden scrapbook to track your progress?
