One Day at a Time in Pockets with Nathalie Leonelli

Are you still wrapping up your weekly or monthly pocket pages from 2017? The January kit and add-ons in the shop are the perfect way to fill in those gaps, like Nathalie Leonelli is doing here today with a new pocket page spread! Let’s take a look at how she has filled her pockets!

Hi there! This is Nathalie and I am thrilled to be hosting my first blog post on the Elle’s Studio blog! My latest project is a weekly spread in my 6″ x 12″ album created with the January kit + extras.

I absolutely fell in love with the colors in this kit, especially the purple and lavender accents which I paired on my pages with gray tags and finished with touches of red and turquoise.

For the title card, I used a patterned paper from the brand new XOXO 6″ x 6″ Paper Stack, a label from the Love You Die Cuts stamped with the Dated Stamp (already a favorite of mine) and topped with a star from the new Star Chipboard Stickers.

I also used those awesome stars on my “Currently” card. A “currently” list is a great remedy if you are short on photos!

See those Black Cardstock Alphabet Stickers? They come in several other colors and I LOVE their quality and their size. I had fun mixing them with the Days of the Week and the Stanley Jr. Alphabet Stamp.

Other favorites in this month’s release are the Hugs and Kisses Puffy Stickers and the January Labels. If, like me, you are using a manual typewriter, type your text on them before cutting the label off the sheet!

Don’t forget to use foam dots to add dimension and maybe pull out some colorful thread to add texture with some stitching.

I could not be happier with the look of this spread and I am excited to share more with you every month!
