Halloween Pocket Page Inspiration with Candace Perkins!

Hello friends! I love that it is starting to get a little chilly, leaves are changing and falling, and all the sights and sounds of fall and winter are in full force! It is so fun to document these fun moments and memories in our scrapbooks. My favorite way to document our family’s weekly events is through pocket pages. I love seeing our special memories reflected back to me in this weekly format.

For today’s spread I went back through last years’ album and decided to document the week of Halloween. The October Kit, along with the Happy Halloween Journaling Tags were perfect to tell the story of this week.

For the title card this week I combined the little heart rectangle from the So Cozy Stamp & the “all the details” phrase from the Days of the Week Stamp to add a little more color and dimension.

It was easy to send the journaling tags through my typewriter to add my journaling! The Halloween Puffy Stickers added the perfect accents to journaling tags and photos across my spread.

Because I was documenting the week of Halloween, I knew I had to add the adorable Trick or Treat Wood Veneer! I layered the wood piece on top of the star journaling tag to balance the black on the right and left side of the spread.

I loved that I could use the “favorites” journaling tag from the October Kit to write a list of my favorites for this week. I also liked the impact of simply placing the “31” on top of the yellow filler tag!

I really adore the final spread! There is lots of color, but it is balanced with clean journaling and simple embellishments to make sure that it is not too cluttered or overwhelming, keeping the photos the focus. It is such a fun week to look back on! I hope this inspired you to tell more of your family’s story in pocket pages! Have a beautiful day!
