Summer Eats Layout by Jill Sprott

The Elle’s Studio June kit is chock full of tags and tidbits that are just perfect for summertime projects. Among them is a little circle that reads, “Nom NOM.” These two words serve as a reminder that summer isn’t just about lazy days, sunshine, and trips to the beach or pool — it’s also about good food.

This layout gives a much-deserved shout-out to some of my family’s favorite summer eats, to include the best sandwich and the best lemonade ever. To get these into our bellies, we have to drive farther than usual, but hey, it’s summer — we’ve got the time, and the trip is always worth it. It’s also worth documenting.

I pulled together several scrumptious detail photos alongside a few layered tags from the June kit, and topped off the cluster with a title comprised of an Elle’s Studio acrylic word and letter stickers. The sunshine tag has a cute little counterpart stamp in the “Sunny Days” collection, which I used to brighten the background. I also included strips of tape from the sandwich packaging in the mix.
