Using the Adore You cut file

Today we are excited to share two projects that both use the Adore You cut file from our January cut file set! First up is Michelle Wedertz:

Making a really big title is a super easy way to make a big impact on a project and that is what I did with the “Adore You” cut file.

However, even though I wanted the title to be an attention getter, I still wanted the photo to be the main focus of the layout and by cutting the title from white cardstock and layering it on top of the white cardstock background creating a tone on tone effect, I kept the title subtle and let the photo pop off the page.

And, next we have Allie Stewart sharing how she used the cut file:EllesStudio-AllieStewart-AdoreYou1Hello there! I had so much fun using the “Adore You” image from the cut files to create my layout.

This layout was super easy, but a wee bit time consuming. To create this layout, I enlarged the “Adore You” in Silhouette Studio to take up most of the page. I used the offset button to create the outline where the stitching is. Next, I separated the offset shape and the original shape. I used the sketch pen to trace the offset shape onto my background, then stitched around it. This is where the time-part comes in! I put on some Netflix and stitched away!

Then, I cut the original shape from another patterned it paper, and adhered it to the page. A few simple embellishments, and the page was done! I love the look of a big title, and I think the stitching makes it POP!
