Today’s post features a holiday layout from Melissa Mann! Wait until you see how she uses our November cut files and incorporates our November kit with our Joyful collection – it’s beautiful! Here’s what Melissa has to say:
Good Morning, everyone! This is Melissa here with you today!
I always LOVE the digital cut files that Elle comes up with every month that coordinate with the exclusive monthly products! One of my favorite techniques with the digital files is to make them BIG! It is a fun challenge to incorporate that BIG cut file to a 12×12 layout.
This month I used one of the snowflake cut files and stretched it out to cover almost the entire 12×12 piece of white card stock. I cut it out using my Silhouette Cameo. Once it was cut out, I backed the cutouts in the snowflake with patterned paper from the new “Joyful” collection. Once I was done doing that, I stitched the giant snowflake onto the Kraft card stock that was already backed with another piece of pattern paper from the Christmas collection. After I stitched it down, I layered two photos in the lower right hand corner and tucked some tags up underneath.
My journaling was typed out on one of the 3×4 cards included in the November Kit and that was stitched down as well. My “holiday” title was stitched down across the top of the 3×4 card and pictures. I layered some of the vellum snowflakes on the layout and put a small acrylic star in the middle of each one. Lastly, I used some Ranger Stickes in the color “Eucalyptus” and dotted it all over the snowflake!
