PROJECT LIFE: DOCUMENTING BIRTHDAYS

Today I am sharing a Project Life spread of my son’s ninth birthday!IMG_9077

One of my goals for this year’s album was to not be SO strict on dates and times.  To allow myself to tell a story more than describe our calendar of events.   My son Jonah’s birthday fell on Monday January 5th— the first Monday of the New Year!  So, why not dedicate an entire spread for this special day!?IMG_9066

To be honest the photos used in this page were taken January 5th- 7th, but I was less concerned about documenting the date, and more aware of telling the story of Jonah’s ninth birthday.IMG_9071

I used the journaling card from the Cameron Large & Medium Journaling Tags to capture some of Jonah’s “favorites” right now.  I also like to do this either at the beginning or end of the school year.  This is a great 4×6 tag that really shows their personality at any given time.

I also used journaling cards from Hello 2015 3×4 cards, the Numbers Stamp, and pattern paper from Everyday Moments.IMG_9088
