We have a beautiful card to share with you today by Rachel Izakowicz! Rachel says “This card was so much fun to create! The first step was resizing the 12×12 cut file to about 6×6 and cutting it with a thick material that would be suitable to use as a stencil – I used chipboard.”Products used: Lots of Love Wood Veneer, 12×12 Heart Cut File, A Bushel & A Peck Stamp
“Next, I cut a piece of white cardstock to 3 3/4″ x 5″ and placed the stencil over the paper. Using embossing paste and Distress Ink re-inkers to create color, I carefully applied the paste over the stencil to cover a portion of the hearts, working from light to dark. Embossing Paste is easy to work with and gives such amazing texture. I stamped ‘You’ from the A Bushel and a Peck Stamp Set onto a gold label and adhered that, along with the wood veneer, once the paste was dry.”
