Today I am sharing the week of August 11-August 17th in my Project Life album. This spread officially wraps up my documentation for our summer! My first week of my fall until New Years Eve album always begins on the first week of school for my children.
This spread includes a variety of current events, and activities from our week. This was a big week for my family – my brother got engaged at the end of the week. I included the story and several photos in the spread. We also took a trip to the fair and the zoo this week (last week of summer– have to fit it all in!).
I also decided to include some current events the deeply impacted me in this spread. Sadly, this was the week that actor Robin Williams passed away. I included a photo I found of him in the movie Patch Adams and included some journaling with a heart that i cut (to look like a broken heart).
I also used the “In the News” journaling tag found in the July 2014 kit to document about the Ebola crisis and Dr. Kent Brantly’s amazing recovery that was covered on National News– Dr. Brantly went to my high school, it was amazing to watch his story unfold on an international level.
For the majority of this spread I used items from the September 2014 kit and items from our new Sycamore Lane collection which will be available September 24 (tomorrow!) in our shop.
We’d love to see your Project Life album! Make sure you upload what you are working on to our gallery and tag the Elle’s Studio products that you used.
