Product Spotlight: 2014 Paper Collection – part 1

Today we are excited to spotlight our 2014 paper collection! These papers are perfect for pocket style scrapbooking, mini albums, and even layouts, throughout the year! The mini albums also make great Christmas presents for your loved ones, too. You could either use photos from 2013 and put the album together now, or put it together without the photos and let them add them throughout the year! My mom asks for one of these every year, to sit on her desk.

Here’s a close up of one of the papers in the collection:

When this paper is cut apart, you’ll have 4 x 6 and 3 x 4 inch calendars, along with a fun tag calendar and generic journaling tags that you can use on any type of project! There are also tiny journaling and embellishment tags, too.

We asked our design team to make some projects using the 2014 collection and we have some amazing and inspiring projects to share with you! Here’s what they came up with:

For Suz’s project, she used the 4 x 6 inch calendars and them into cut down page protectors. She says that she’ll use this mini album all year long to keep track of fun events and add photos, receipts/ticket subs, and ephemera to it as the year goes along!

Annette worked with the tags on the page and said: For my calendar project using the 2014 collection from Elle’s Studio, I decided to make a simple tag booklet. I trimmed out the cute kraft tags and bound them with a jump ring. I added some embellishments for fun as well as simple photos on the back that I made look like “Instax inspired” by using a template in PSE and added the photos in right there. Then I just printed them at home, added some handwritten captions and attached them using washi tape. I added a piece of ribbon to finish it off. I love that I can just hang this on my inspiration board or take it with me in my purse. Another fun idea would be to use a shadow box or frame and attach them using clips. Lots of fun ways to use this collection. Have fun with it!”

Stay tuned for next Saturday when we share even more projects using our 2014 paper collection!
