Project Life

This week’s Project Life covers the week of March 4- 10th.

Last week three of the four members of my household were sick (including me).  So, needless to say, I got a week behind on Project Life.   There are definitely times when life happens and your focus and energy is required else where.

I was fun looking back at the week and picking up on obvious themes.  There was a theme of NEW : a new diet (gluten free), a new fresh snowfall, our friends had a new baby, and we added a few new members to our family as well: 6 baby chicks.

When putting together the spread I went SIMPLE.  I pulled colors from my purple smoothie and the pink theatre program.  I knew I needed to somehow highlight these colors that I don’t typically use in my album.   The purple 4×6 card is part of the Serendipity 4×6 Journaling Cards.    The pattern paper in the date pocket is from the Soilel collection by Basic Grey.

Another idea when attempting to catch up is to document what’s happening around you (not only what’s happening to you) . I included an instagram photo from my brother’s travels, and also the photo of our friends’ newborn.   It’s fun to see so many important events from different points of view in one spread.
