Project Life

It’s another week of Project Life here at Elle’s Studio.  This week I am sharing the week of March 5- 11th in my Project Life album.
This week, I took a slightly different approach while creating my Project Life layout.  As I was flipping through my photos, and particularly through my iPhone/Instagram photos, I noticed a reoccurring theme for this week: change.
Whether it be the daylight savings time change, the change in weather, change in haircuts and shoes, the announced change in my beloved NFL team, or even how many times a day my daughter likes to change her clothes, the theme of “change” was a huge focus for the week.  I still focused on the who/what/when/where/why of our week, but told many of our stories through the lens of change.
It’s fun to switch things up a bit in your Project Life.  Whether you focus on a theme (like “change” or “favorites”), a word (like “new” or “growth” for spring) , or a challenge (using the kid’s “backpack art”, pieces that come in the mail that week, or only using iPhone photos), you might spark some new ideas for your Project Life album.
Lately, I have really enjoy including small layouts in my Project Life album.  I have found that I am able to design a layout very quickly (and with less “fuss”) when I know it’s for Project Life.  I love having a variety of items in my Project Life– so why not add a layout here and there?  This mini layout (an 8.5 x 11) highlights my son’s favorite things at school.
One item I love to incorporate into Project Life are the Elle’s Studio Pennants.  They are perfect for layering over an instax photo, or using as a title.  Elle’s new Bright and Vintage Pennants have fun bold colors!
We have a winner from last week’s giveaway!  Congrats to Jennifer!   Please send us an email at info@shopellesstudio.com with the following info:
