Paper Christmas Trees!

I just LOVE little Christmas trees! My mom has some fun vintage ones that I drool over every year when she puts them out. This year, I was super excited to come across this tutorial at domestifluff.com – the first thing I thought of when I saw it was CHRISTMAS TREES!

For these little trees you’ll need some wood spools, a dowel that fits into the spools hole and some paper. The cone is optional and really not needed! I thought I would need it to form the paper cones, but you don’t! For the paper, I printed out some papers from our digital Christmas Papers.
I covered the spools in some Martha Stewart tinsel glitter and regular glitter – soooo pretty!
The tutorial has a pdf that you can print out of the cone shape – I ended up printing the pdf at different sizes so my trees would all be different sizes – turned out super cute!
Don’t forget to add some stars at the top and some clear glitter on the trees for snow! Also, buttons make super cute little ornaments on the trees, too!
Can’t wait to put these on display in our little “Christmas village”! Now I just need some houses 🙂

These are the papers I used – they are 20% off during the entire month of December! Actually, everything in our digital shop is, so make sure you take advantage of that amazing sale!
Tomorrow I will be sharing the first 15 pages of my December Daily album! It’s been such a fun project – I can’t wait for you to see it!

xoxo, Elle
