Let’s make a TURKEY… placecard :)

Ready to make a turkey? A turkey place card that is 🙂 I was totally inspired by Paper Sources kit, but didn’t place my order in time! So then, I started thinking about all my scrapbooking paper scraps and thought hey! I’ll just use those!

I took my Uchida 2.5 Scalloped punch and punched out a piece of brown bazzill paper. I found a little orange piece of bazzill, so I cut a little triangle for beak out of that. Then, I dug into my scrap pieces and pulled out some greens, oranges, burgandy, etc. All fall colors. You’ll want to cut those into a leaf shape. They don’t have to be perfect 🙂
You’ll also need some googly eyes! Glue the eyes and beak to the brown piece of paper.
Then glue the leaf shapes to the back of the brown scalloped circle.
Ta da! And, it’s so cute!! I tucked one of our thankful tags (free download here!) into his beak and plan on writing the names of each person on them for a seating place card… so it would say “Thankful for… Mom” … I might have to pull out some of my fun alphabet stickers!
